Recipient of the 2020 ACS Chemical Biology Lectureship Award

ACS Chemical Biology, along with the ACS Division of Biological Chemistry, is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2020 ACS Chemical Biology Lectureship Award – David R. Liu, PhD. Join us in congratulating him for this accomplished achievement!

Every year this lectureship honors the contributions of an individual who has had a major impact on scientific research in the area of chemical biology and has published at least one paper in ACS Chemical Biology. Past winners include Chuan He (2019), James A. Wells (2018), Benjamin F. Cravatt (2017), and many other prestigious chemical biologists. The winner presents at the ACS Spring National Meeting. Be sure to bookmark your planners to attend Dr. Liu's lecture in Philadelphia, PA on Tuesday, March 24!

David R. Liu is the Director of the Merkin Institute and Vice-Chair of Faculty at the Broad Institute. Additionally, he is a Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator.
